The crown of the winner of ‘Miss International 2022’, one of the world’s four major beauty contests, went to Miss Germany. While the winner of this contest drew attention for his outstanding beauty, the fact that his lover is a Korean man is attracting great attention from domestic netizens.
Miss Germany Jasmine Selberg won first place at the ’60th Miss International World Pageant 2022′ held at Tokyo Dome City Hall, Japan on the 13th (local time). He is currently attending university.
In an interview with the winner, Jasmine said, “I didn’t know much regarding Germany when I first participated in the pageant, but I started to explore more regarding my country. I wanted to highlight the positive side of Germany.”
Jasmine said regarding ‘beauty’, “If you don’t stop trying to find beauty around you, you will literally find beauty in this world.”
However, immediately following Jasmine’s award, domestic netizens’ attention was directed elsewhere. Missology, an international beauty pageant community, released photos of Jasmine and her Asian-looking boyfriend. Missothology posted a photo of Jasmine Selberg and her boyfriend on their official social media account on the same day, calling them a “power couple.” It was also explained as “her longtime Korean boyfriend, Park Young-min.”
Jasmine has expressed her affection for Park through her SNS in the past. In February of last year, he posted a picture of the two of them together and said, “It’s lucky to have someone who makes you want to come home. He spent almost three years with you.” Park, from Seoul, is said to be working for a German information technology company.

It is considered one of the world’s four major beauty contests along with Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss Earth. As a representative of Korea, Miss Korea 2021 Kim Soo-jin challenged.
