A 9-month-old baby died this evening, shortly after 10 p.m., in a road accident which occurred on the D570, in the town of Arles. From a source close to the investigation, it is specified that the driver would have lost control of his vehicle for a still unknown reason and would have hit a plane tree.
Another 3-year-old suffers from head trauma. Parents aged 45 and 35 are more slightly injured. Significant rescue resources were dispatched to the scene of the accident, ie around thirty firefighters, as well as the civil security helicopter.
