The lowest figure since January: Minsal reports 1,424 new coronavirus infections on the last day
The Ministry of Health made this Sunday a new assessment of the situation of the coronavirus in our country, reporting a total of 1,424 new cases and 32 deaths because of the disease.
The number of infections and positivity at the national level, which reached 4.28%, are the lowest recorded since the beginning of January.

Of the new cases, 853 were reported to have symptoms, 177 were asymptomatic, while 394 were not reported.
As for total figures, there are already 3,530,258 confirmed cases of coronavirus, while deaths reached 57,263.
Currently the number of active cases nationwide is 10,724, with a total of 407 critical beds available throughout the country.
The positivity at the national level reached 4.28%, while in the Metropolitan region it reached 4.95%following having carried out 29,580 tests between PCR and antigens.
