The Minnesota Wild’s troubles continue once morest the Florida Panthers as well.
Against the Panthers and their excellent goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky they scored once more only one goal and lost 1:2 in the end following a shootout. Bobrovsky shows 27 saves, Filip Gustavsson even 33 in the goal of the Wild.
Kirill Kaprizov scores once more for Minnesota, scoring his 30th goal of the season to make it 1-1 in the meantime. Only Mats Zuccarello is successful in the penalty shoot-out, while Anton Lundell and Aleksander Barkov ensure victory for Florida.
Kaprizov is only the third player in Wild history to score 30+ goals in consecutive seasons. He ranks behind Marian Gaborik and Brian Rolston, who even reached this mark three years in a row.
Minnesota has a goal difference of 7-15 in their last five games and has never scored more than two goals in a game. “We all have to find a way,” said Kaprizov following the game: “If we find our game once more and go back to the basics, we’ll be able to win some of these games once more.”
