The Democratic Party of Korea urged the people to apologize to the public for soliciting a job by KT, and to resign as a candidate for the Gyeonggi governor, Kim Eun-hye, a candidate for the People’s Strength of the People’s Power Gyeonggi governor.

Lee Su-jin, floor spokesperson for the Democratic Party, commented and said, “The fact that candidate Kim solicited an acquaintance’s employment through a new employee while serving at KT was revealed as evidence in the ruling on the illegal employment case of former lawmaker Kim Seong-tae’s daughter.”

The spokesperson for the floor said, “I’m talking regarding fairness in the future, but in the future, they made an unfair and illegal solicitation for employment.”

Lee Won-wook, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, also wrote on his SNS, “There was a press report that Kim Eun-hye was trying to hire an acquaintance Kim to KT while she was KT’s managing director.”

Internet media ‘Voice of the People’ reported that candidate Kim Eun-hye requested a job from an acquaintance of Kim Eun-hye, who was presumed to be an acquaintance, in a new employee recruitment in 2012 when she was serving as managing director in charge of KT group content strategy.

Regarding these allegations, Candidate Kim said, “I have never been involved in fraudulent recruitment, and I have confirmed that the person mentioned in the media was not actually hired.
