The decree was signed by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), by the Minister of Women, Cida Gonçalves (PT), and by the Minister of Labor and Employment, Luiz Marinho (PT).
The Group will be made up of seven ministries and will aim to observe international conventions, employment conditions, remuneration and opportunities for professional advancement, the work environment, the division of family responsibilities, ethnic-racial aspects and the transversality of the theme of wage and labor equality.
Meetings will be fortnightly or extraordinary and will last for 180 days, extendable for an equal period.
