Ministry of Interior Announces Implementation of Death Sentence in Najran Region: Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper – SPA: Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death sentence as a retaliation once morest one of the perpetrators in the Najran region, the text of which follows:

God Almighty said (O you who have believed, prescribed for you is retaliation for the slain) the verse.

And God Almighty said (And there is life for you in retaliation, O you of understanding, that you may become righteous).

Muhammad bin Mursal bin Ali Al Rizq – a Saudi national – killed Moeed bin Abdullah bin Mohsen Al-Yami – a Saudi national – by shooting him with a gun and stabbing him, which led to his death, due to a dispute between them.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing his crime, and by referring him to the competent court, an instrument was issued once morest him proving his guilt for what was attributed to him, and ruling that he should be killed as a retaliation. The ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. A royal order was issued to enforce what was decided by Sharia law, and it was supported by its authority.

The death sentence was carried out as retaliation once morest the perpetrator / Muhammad bin Mursal bin Ali Al Rizq – a Saudi national – on Wednesday, 3/5/1445 AH, corresponding to 9/20/2023 AD, in the Najran region.
