He also inspected Al-Azazi Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction Treatment in Abu Hammad, to check on the provision of medical services to patients there, as he inspected the various departments of the hospital, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim, Deputy Director General of the hospital, and Ahmed Ismail, the hospital’s head of nursing.
Masoud praised the medical service provided to the 147 patients in the hospital, including 109 psychological, 29 addiction patients, and 9 women, praising the recovery ceremony that was held in the hospital.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health also inspected the ongoing works to raise the efficiency of the hospital’s toilets and plumbing works, the estimated cost of which is 3 million pounds, directing the continuous follow-up of the works for the speedy completion of them, and also made sure that the hospital’s electric generator was working.
