The Ministry of Health and Population said that it launched the mobile health office service in Cairo and Giza governorates, with 4 cars providing the services provided in health offices in the governorates, which include registering deaths and births, providing routine vaccination services, as well as Hajj and Umrah vaccinations, and vaccinations for travelers abroad, in addition to providing quick medical consultations. For his part, Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said in statements to Youm7: The mobile health office service was launched in the governorates in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, with 4 cars to cover the governorates of Cairo and Giza only, provided that there will be a phased operation of the service in other governorates in rotation. To make it easier for citizens to obtain the service.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that services are provided to citizens with high quality and reduce overcrowding in various offices, noting that all services are provided free of charge, just as they are provided in health offices. He continued: All versions of mobile health offices are automated and equipped with watermarks and QR codes to prevent forgery. .

Abdul Ghaffar added that the vaccination system was part of the development work and was operated to cover all the needs of the preventive sector in an enabling manner, while displaying supporting data to decision makers through a dashboard within the command and control center, in the central crisis room in the Ministry of Health and Population.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that mobile health office services are a project that was developed within the strategy of the Ministry of Health and Population to expand the provision of services to citizens and reach health services to those eligible in remote areas.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population pointed out that these mobile offices provide preventive medicine services such as registering births and deaths, issuing automated birth and death certificates, in addition to routine vaccination services for children, as well as vaccinations for pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims, and travelers abroad, and several other services.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar added that the health units will be mobile: “The service will be requested through the 105 preventive medicine hotline and it will go to the citizen’s home, and the new service is scheduled to be launched in Alexandria Governorate” soon.

He explained that all health offices in the 27 governorates, with a total of 4,667 offices, have been automated to issue birth and death certificates, burial permits, and other documentary transactions.

This came in implementation of the directives of the political leadership, regarding digital transformation, and replacing paper versions with automated documents, to facilitate citizens, and within the framework of the state plan, Egypt “2030”.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that the number of automated birth certificates that were issued from last January until mid-November amounted to 1,819,936 certificates, while electronic death certificates that were issued on the same date amounted to 505,000. And 423 certificates.

For his part, Dr. Ashraf Abdel Aleem, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Digital Transformation and Information Technology, explained that mobile health offices are being linked to regular offices within one system and with one application in order to expand the performance of services.
