Ministerial Directive No. 27 was issued in light of the measures taken by the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade to limit the rise in prices and offer basic goods to the consumer at an appropriate price.
The first article of the ministerial directive stipulated that sugar produced through Egyptian Stock Exchange It is packaged and traded as rationing sugar, and legal measures are taken once morest the violator, whether the packaging companies or the various supply chains.
After the end of the trading session on the stock exchange and the determination of quantities and prices, the stock exchange notifies the regulatory authorities “Control and Distribution Sector – Supply Investigations” as well as the implementing companies with a statement of implementations.
The second article of the ministerial directive stipulates that the Control and Distribution Sector of the Ministry of Supply shall notify the directorates, each within its jurisdiction, according to geographical location, of the names of the packaging companies, the quantities distributed to them, and the production companies from which the sugar will be dispensed.
