Asunción, IP Agency.- In order to ensure the personnel in white in the context of the covid-19 pandemic, the Minister of Public Health, Julio Mazzoleni, toured the hospitals of the department of Cordillera, an occasion in which he observed in each health park, the provision of equipment of individual protection.
The head of the health portfolio carried out a work day in the Third Health Region, in order to verify the stock of personal protective equipment (PPE).
First, he arrived at the Eusebio Ayala hospital to verify the provision of oxygen and PPE, as well as the operation of the maternal and child care system; considering that the service has several white-collar personnel leaving, due to the quarantine they are complying with following contracting covid-19.
Likewise, he visited the Caacupé Regional Hospital, where, following a tour, he verified the supply of equipment and distribution of PPE. Likewise, the Altos hospital was verified.
“I ask that we have all the discussions behind closed doors and resolve the discrepancies. But when we go outside, for attention, let’s all go out united, buttoned up, because we owe it to the people,” Minister Mazzoleni emphasized to the officials.
The head of Public Health will carry out random checks to confirm the correct functioning of the services.
