The construction of 16 kilometers of new service roads entering and leaving the urban district of Zango to the Fidel Castro Ruz expressway is relieving road traffic, said today, Saturday, the Minister of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing, Carlos Alberto dos Santos.
The government official who was speaking at the conclusion of the inspection visit to some road works in the country’s capital city, Luanda, said that with this work still ongoing, road traffic has already been more fluid, especially on the service roads accessing the expressway , Fidel Castro Ruz.
He explained that to this end, new access roads into and out of Zango were identified, in order to facilitate road traffic and mobility, over a 38-kilometre route.
“Within a short time and in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Luanda, within the scope of the integrated infrastructure program, work will begin on the access roads, as the aim is to find a solution for those who live in Zango”, he stated the ruler.
