The Minister of Housing issues decisive decisions to remove building violations and new restrictions to reduce random phenomena. Dr. Assem Al-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, issued 9 strong decisions aimed at removing building violations within the borders of the First Sector Development Agency for the Northwestern Coast and the New Beni Suef City, in a firm step. To prevent violations in all their forms and eliminate random construction in new cities.

  • Removal of building violations in a tourist unit “chalet” in a tourist village on the northwest coast, including pouring the roof of the terrace in violation of the laws.
  • Addressing multiple building violations on residential plots of land in the sixth residential district, “Build Your House 1 and 2” in the new city of Beni Suef, including closing balconies, building on the back floors, and illegally pouring skylights and columns.

Implementation and assignments

The Minister directed the two specialized development agencies, with the support of the Construction Police and the Specialized Police, to implement the decisions issued immediately, to ensure the restoration of order and adherence to the approved engineering plans and building codes.
