Minister of Home Affairs Emphasizes Strengthening BNPP Performance

MINISTER of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian emphasized strengthening the performance of the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) to improve the welfare of people in border areas. Tito, who is also the Head of BNPP, emphasized the importance of a comprehensive evaluation of organizational performance in commemoration of BNPP’s 14th anniversary.

“We need to reflect and do contemplation to understand the strengths and weaknesses of BNPP,” said Tito, quoted Monday (30/9).

The theme “Build Borders for a Golden Indonesia” carried at this celebration reflects a shared commitment to better and sustainable management.

In the report submitted by the Daily Acting Secretary of BNPP, Makhruzi Rahman, it was stated that this activity was also a moment to strengthen collaboration between border managers, so that it could have a positive impact on society.

As part of the celebration, BNPP held various competitions, both internal and external, involving the community at National Border Posts (PLBN). This competition includes sports, arts and creativity which aims to strengthen togetherness.

As the highlight of the event, Minister of Home Affairs Tito launched the BNPP Healthy Walk and Gathering at Pasar Seni, Ancol, North Jakarta, on Sunday, September 29 2024. This activity was attended by BNPP officials and employees, and was equipped with entertainment and a door prize draw.

“We gather as a big BNPP family to exercise and strengthen togetherness,” concluded Tito.
