Today, Friday, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, accompanied by Major General Adel Al-Ghadban, Governor of Port Said, inspected the first phase of the work to develop the Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Hospital in Port Said. In preparation for the actual start of the medical service, and the reception of patients.
The minister’s visit comes as part of a series of periodic inspection tours in all governorates of the Republic, to follow up the completion rates of health projects, to provide the necessary support, and to overcome any obstacles that may hinder the medical system, as well as to be reassured about the level of quality of health care services provided to citizens in all governorates.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, indicated that the minister inspected the various departments of the hospital, including the internal residence rooms for women and men, and rooms for recreational treatment and hobbies. It is noteworthy that Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar conducted a tour in Port Said Governorate, on Friday morning, during which he visited several hospitals, including “Al-Salam Hospital, the naval building, and Al-Shifa Medical Complex”, which work within the comprehensive health insurance system.
