The Minister of Education, Raúl Figueroa, led this Friday in the Antofagasta Region the ceremony in which the Official Recognition of operation was delivered to the Ckapin Panni kindergarten and nursery of the Integra Foundation, Calama campus where they receive initial education 150 boys and girls.

During 2021, this garden was able to execute $ 211 million in infrastructure funds provided by the Mineduc, which allowed it to carry out improvement works such as the expansion of the kitchens of the nursery and nursery, the construction of the administrative area, spaces of breastfeeding and first aid, implementation of parking spaces reserved for people with reduced mobility and for bicycles.

“Kindergarten education is essential to ensure the integral development of our children, and today in Calama we are very happy to be able to deliver this official recognition to this Integra Foundation kindergarten that has made a huge effort, with the entire community, to achieve the highest quality standards and, as always, put children at the center of our concerns “said Minister Figueroa.

For her part, the director of Ckapin Panni, Rosa Honores, added that “It is a very special day for our community, we obtain our official recognition that allows us to deliver a quality education, with an adequate and first-rate infrastructure for our children, thus promoting meaningful and real quality learning.”

The representative Carolaine Jaque also appreciated the recognition. “As proxies we are super happy with the garden. We thank the aunts who care regarding our children as if they were their mothers. The confidence we have in the garden is invaluable ”.

Law No. 20,832 indicates that private kindergarten educational establishments have the right to opt for the certification of Operation Authorization or Official Recognition, which is granted by the Ministry of Education through its Regional Ministerial Secretariats. In 2021, 10 kindergartens were officially recognized in the Antofagasta Region.
