The Minister of Education Andrea Centurión accompanied by her counterpart, the head of the Ministry of Health, Manuela Ávila, the provincial deputy Claudia Palladino, the director of Programming and Building Maintenance of the educational portfolio, Lucas Caminada and the director of Health Maintenance, Cristián Acosta , took a tour of the work of the Faculty of Medicine located at the headquarters of the former Higher Industrial Technical Institute (ISTI).
On the occasion, the officials toured the work that is finished, being very satisfied with the work done. In addition, they discussed the distribution of the spaces, in order to have the necessary facilities according to the specific activities that will be carried out in them.
It should be noted that the work was carried out within the framework of the agreement between the Ministry of Education and the National University of Catamarca, through which the province assigns the use of a sector of the property of the former headquarters of the Higher Technical Industrial Institute (ISTI), located at Avellaneda and Tula 1200 corner of La Rioja, for “the development and implementation of the careers and/or academic offers dictated by the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UNCA , prioritizing the development of the Medicine Career”.
