The Minister for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez Viña, arrived in Bolívar state this Friday to carry out the installation and deployment of the Health Staff, with the aim of reviewing the areas of care.
Upon her arrival, the head of the Health portfolio was received by Governor Ángel Marcano; First Lady Yajaira Arocha de Marcano; by the Single Health Authority and president of the Bolívar State Public Health Institute (ISP), Dr. Manuel Maurera, by the mayors of the Angostura del Orinoco and Caroní municipalities, Sergio Hernández and Tito Oviedo, in addition to the members of the regional executive train .
The deployment began from the Dr. Armando Ortega Clinical Laboratory, recently inaugurated by Governor Ángel Marcano, where the minister evaluated all the scope of this facility.

Later, he arrived at the Uyapar Hospital in Ciudad Guayana, where he reopened the Adult Emergency Room of this health center, in addition to taking a tour of all the care areas; maternity, hospitalization.
He evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the place and guided actions with Governor Ángel Marcano and the Single Health Authority, Dr. Manuel Maurera.
The agenda continued in the auditorium of the Mundo de Sonrisas headquarters, where he installed and announced the formal deployment of the Health Staff in Bolívar. He reported that the goal is to reach 100% vaccination once morest covid-19.
He highlighted the importance of placing more vaccination points, with the aim that people have the opportunity to be vaccinated. He applauded that health centers in Bolívar state have their blood banks.
Health Staff
“The General Health Staff in Bolívar must meet to see the important cases in the territories and immediately give answers, to see the exams and specific care that our families require,” said Gutiérrez.
He assured that for the General Staff to function, it must have decision-making power. He said that they are preparing to go to the Revolutionary Health Congress, where they will be protagonists to promote improvements in care.
Comprehensive day at CDI Villa La Manga
After the installation of the General State of Health in Bolívar and guiding three fundamental premises of action: Humanized Childbirth Plan and Maternal Route, Barrio Adentro Mission and in third order, that anarchy in hospitals and health centers be ended, to that the people can be served with all conditions.
