A rather short-lived mini-tornado formed on Wednesday in a field at the gates of Luxembourg City, according to images relayed by a reader of The essential. Lionel was turning around in his vehicle in the Bouillon parking area when he saw the phenomenon taking shape when everything was “very calm”.
“At first, I thought it was birds spinning very fast, but it was wind blowing up the greenery,” he says. On his images, we guess that the mini-tornado was several meters high. “There was no damage, it moved slightly in the field, it lasted a good minute,” Lionel slips.
