Ming-Chi Kuo Says Apple Won’t Launch iMac Pro, New Mac Pro Until 2023

Kuo posted on Twitter with the following forecasts about the new Mac release schedule:

(Kuo’s report is inconsistent with Ross Young, who revealed the new iMac Pro will launch in mid-2022.) The new iMac Pro is rumored to replace the original Intel 27″ iMac and will be available alongside the iMac 24″ M1 chip.Young revealed that the new iMac Pro will also come with a mini-LED display (Apple discontinued selling the first iMac Pro in March 2021).

However, as of right now, rumors are still confused about which new big-screen iMac will be, between the new Apple Silicon 27″ iMac (like the 24″ enlarged version) or the high-spec iMac Pro.

The Mac Pro has also been rumored that Apple may launch in 2022, switching to the new Apple Silicon chips like the M1 Pro, M1 Max (or newer), and rumors of a smaller version. More than half of the original launch as well (the current Mac Pro models still use Intel chips).

In 2020, Apple announced plans to transition from Intel chips on Macs to Apple Silicon chips within two years. This means that from 2022 to 2023, the transition plan is due. Now that the Mac that Apple sells like the iMac 27″, Mac Pro still uses Intel chips, there is a high chance that it will be upgraded to Apple Silicon chips this year. this or next year
