A research team led by Lieutenant Colonel Hossam Al-Abbasi, Head of the Agouza Investigation Department, concluded that a security individual in the company was behind the theft following examining the surveillance cameras, tightening the screws on him, and reviewing the traffic lines, but he made a naive mistake by changing his work schedule and being in the company at night instead of in the morning, which was the beginning of revealing the hidden.
After legalizing the procedures, Majors Ahmed Farouk and Mustafa Hamza managed to seize him and decided that he took advantage of his knowledge of the existence of sums of money in the treasury, the subject of the communication, which he determined to steal.
In front of Brigadier General Hani Shaarawy, head of investigations in the northern sector, the accused narrated the details of what happened. He brought equipment and used it to roll the treasury room and break the existing office drawers and the treasury and seized sums of money from them and placed them inside large bags inside the treasury, and dropped them to the ground floor “where they were found on fire.”

The accused put part of the money in a small bag that he handed to his son while he was passing by and asked him to take it to his sister in Hadayek al-Qobba, then he poured a quantity of gasoline and set fire to the company to try to distract those present and ignore them to come out with the seized sums, but he was surprised that the fire spread to the ground floor to reach the large-sized bags and part of them ignited It was possible to seize the bag with his son, which contained sums of money for “local-foreign” currencies.
