Jeddah: Millions attended the first Taraweeh prayer in both harems. The courtyards and roofs of both harems were filled during the first Taraweeh prayers of Ramadan, which welcomed the people in full force following the Qowid. With the announcement of the new moon, people started flocking from the surrounding areas to attend the Isha prayers in the Haram and the subsequent Taraweeh prayers.
The Iruharam office had already completed all the preparations in view of the rush. All the gates were open. More workers were deployed for cleaning. Robots were also prepared for disinfection.

Departments of safety, health, ambulance and traffic were also on hand for service. Millions of people, including visitors, attended the first Taraweeh prayer at the Masjid al-Nabawi in Madinah. Sheikh Ahmad bin Talib and Sheikh Salah Al-Badir led the Taraweeh prayers.
