A the occasion of the European Night of Museums, Saturday May 14, the Museum of Millau and the Grands Causses has concocted a rich program, with shows, restitutions of animated films shot at the museum, exhibitions, games, and of course a (re)discovery at night collections! Doors open from 2 p.m. to midnight, and it’s always free!
Programme
Toile Tissée air show: 9 p.m., 10 p.m., 11 p.m. Aerial dance, cello and singing by the Cie La Double acCroche. During a poetic and atypical occupation of the space, Toile Tissée invites the spectator to take a new look at the museum, diverted from its usual use. The objective is to show the life that can unfold there, the time of an artistic performance…
The Magic Glove is part of La Classe l’Œuvre, an artistic and cultural education operation carried out during the year and presented to the public during the European Night of Museums. For this edition, it is a 6th grade class from the Marcel Aymard college that offers you, around the gloves of Beauty and the Beast, a literary and plastic work integrated into the museum’s glove collection. You will also discover on videothe various enhancement works carried out this year around the paleontology collection in school and out of school by children, adolescents and adults (MAP’aléo, PALEO clip, Les dents de l’Ammonite, etc.).
With the participation of the Cie La Brebis Égarée, the IME Puits de Calès, Les Charmettes, the Jean Vigo high school (cinema option) and the Education-Youth department of the City of Millau:

- 8 p.m.: premiere of the film Paléo Clip
Throughout the evening, games will be offered to you in the Paleontology and Antiquity collections.
