The census operation relating to military service for the year 2023 will begin on December 28, 2022 and end on February 25.
According to Order No. 3337.22 of the Minister of the Interior setting the date of the start and end of the census operation relating to military service for 2023 published in Official Bulletin No. 7151/12 December 2022, the walis of the regions and the governors, each as far as they are concerned, are called upon to take the necessary measures to implement this decree at the level of the prefecture or the province or the prefecture of the districts falling within their territorial jurisdiction.
The census operation relating to military service for the year 2022, which took place from December 13, 2021 to February 10, 2022, had experienced a large influx of young people, especially women.
The number of young people who completed the census procedures relating to military service for the year 2022 stood at 178,166 once morest 133,820 in 2019.
The number of young females who volunteered for military service reached 29,013, or more than 16% of all young people recorded, compared to 13,614 in 2019 (10.17%).
Military service offers an opportunity for young people to acquire quality skills to develop their know-how and professional capacities and facilitate their integration into the job market in order to contribute to the development of the country.
It is also a valuable opportunity to allow young recruits to familiarize themselves closely with the various important roles played by the Royal Armed Forces in the various military, health and humanitarian fields in Morocco and at the continental and international levels.
