SINALOA.- On the afternoon of this Friday, October 4, a military helicopter opened fire against alleged armed subjects in a town in the municipality of Angostura.

According to reports, the events were recorded in the Independencia neighborhood, also known as Chinitos, in Angostura where a strong ground operation was registered y aerial by elements of the Mexican Air Forcemilitary and National Guard troops.

In a video that circulates on social networks, it shows the moment in which the aircraft fired its machine gun against a truck, which, according to residents’ testimonies, overturned after receiving the impacts.

Said clip shows the magnitude of the attackgenerating an avalanche of comments and speculation among citizens.

“In communication with the Secretariat of the Navy of Mexico to know the situation that prevails at the moment, it communicates that strategic operations are being carried out, which are typical of its special works that are contemplated in Angostura and neighboring municipalities. For this reason, SEMAR itself will be the one to announce their results,” he highlighted.

He added that on the La Costera highway, near Caimanero, punctured tire objects were located, which damaged 2 trailers and 1 sedan-type vehicle, which has already been attended to by the security forces.
