I will not go into the details of the ruling, but the basis of justice is equality between citizens before the judiciary. This is a principle that the military court did not respect, neither in this file nor in many other files, and today it is completely subject to the power of arms and has become a means for its owners to punish their opponents and acquit them. Their members are accountable, from the killer of Samer Hanna to the perpetrators of the Khaldeh crime. The abolition of the military court and all exceptional courts is a gateway to achieving the independence of the judiciary and liberating it from the control of this weapon over it.”
