The elected president, Javier Miley, confirmed that it will privatize YPF and the public media. In dialogue with Radio Mitersaid that “everything that can be in the hands of the private sector, is going to be in the hands of the private sector.”
Regarding YPF, he said that the state company said that “the first thing to do is put it back together.”
“Since Kicillof decided to nationalize it, the deterioration that has been done to the company in terms of results so that it is worth less than when it was expropriated,” he said.
He didn’t set deadlines. “In the transition that we are thinking regarding in the energy issue, YPF and Enarsa have a role. As long as these structures are rationalized, they are put to create value so that they can be sold in a very beneficial way for Argentines”.

Javier Milei also confirmed what he had advanced in the campaign: the privatization of the Public TV, Telam y National Radio.
“We consider that Public TV has become a propaganda mechanism,” he defined, and stated: “The 75% that was talked regarding our space was done in a negative way, with lies and supporting the campaign of fear. I do not adhere to those practices of having a propaganda ministry”.
