Wolves can be happy there will be at least one trophy coming to Minnesota this year. For the fourth time in his career, Mike Conley has won the Sportsmanship Award! An NBA record.
Not really at the center of individual awards during his long and successful career, Mike Conley can at least claim to have done better than anyone when it comes to the Sportsmanship Award. This trophy thus rewards each year the players who do the most honor to the values of sport through their ethics, their fair play and their integrity on the floors of the Great League.
In 2023, it is therefore Mike Conley who pockets the bet and it is not really a novelty for the man since it is already his fourth statuette in his career! It is even an NBA record since he shared the first place in the list with Grant Hill, rewarded him three times.
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley is the recipient of the Joe Dumars Trophy for winning the 2022-23 NBA Sportsmanship Award.

As a reminder, each team chooses one of its representatives for the reward. Six finalists are then chosen by a group of League leaders. It is finally the players themselves who vote for the big winner among the last six names.
