What message does Bhajan singh Rana have for our readers?

Archyde News: An Interview with Auto-Rickshaw Hero, Bhajan Singh Rana

Archyde Correspondent, Nisha Pillai, sits down with the humble auto-rickshaw driver turned hero, Bhajan Singh Rana, to discuss his remarkable act of bravery and the unexpected events that unfolded on that fateful night.

Nisha Pillai (NP): Good evening,Bhajan. It’s an honor to have you hear with us today. You’ve become something of a national icon after your selfless act. How does that feel?

Bhajan Singh Rana (BSR): chuckles It’s still a bit hard to believe, to be honest.I’m just an ordinary man doing my job. But if I’ve brought some happiness and hope to people, then I’m glad.

NP: Let’s take our readers back to that night. saif Ali Khan hailed your auto, but you didn’t know it was him at the time. Can you walk us through what happened?

BSR: nods It was around 11:30 PM. I was about to park my rickshaw for the night when they flagged me down. I could see the man was injured, so I didn’t think twice. I heard the boy say,”Bhaiya, please, please take us to Lilavati.” So I drove as fast as I could.

NP: You must’ve had quite a shock when you found out who your passenger was. What went through your mind?

BSR: laughs I was stunned, I must admit. I’d seen all his movies, but I never imagined I’d be driving him to the hospital. I felt responsible for him, like he was my own family. I just wanted him to be okay.

NP: Mika Singh, among many others, praised your actions and suggested you should receive a reward. What’s your take on that?

BSR: I’m truly grateful for their kind words. But for me, helping others is not about reward. When someone is in trouble, it’s our duty to lend a hand. Saif Ali Khan could’ve been anyone—my brother, my friend. I would’ve done the same.

NP: that’s remarkable. tell us, do you ever think about the ‘what ifs’? What if you hadn’t stopped, what if something had gone wrong?

BSR: pauses I try not to dwell on those thoughts. Of course,I wish nothing like this would’ve happened to Saif sir. But given the situation, I did what I could. I believe destiny brought us together that night, and I was simply answering the call of humanity.

NP: you’ve set a shining example of bravery and compassion. Have you always been this way, or was there a defining moment that shaped you?

BSR: smiles I’ve always been taught to help others. My parents were humble school teachers who instilled these values in me. They’d say, “Help others, and Goodness will always return to you.” I guess that stuck with me.

NP: Wiser words could not be spoken. Lastly, Bhajan, what message do you have for our readers?

BSR: Never hesitate to help someone in need. It might be tough, it might not be safe, but if it’s within your power, always choose to help. As everyone deserves a chance to be saved, just like Saif sir.

NP: That’s a powerful message indeed. thank you, Bhajan, for your time and for being a beacon of hope. We’re proud to have you as a part of our Archyde family.

BSR: smiles Thank you,Nisha. It’s been an honor.

NP: Until next time, this is Nisha Pillai, signing off from our exclusive interview with Mumbai’s brave heart, Bhajan Singh Rana.
