miiothe start-up specializing in electric mobility, announces that it has reached the threshold of 225,000 users.

The miio community brings together registered users from France, Spain and Portugal, where the company is from. Among them, its customer portfolio includes 12,000 companies, including Critical Software, Lactalis, Vendap and the Bluwalk fleet.

Two years following its arrival on the French market, miio now has nearly 30,000 charging stations for a total of 130,000 sockets. The company has already recorded four times more charging sessions there in 2023 than last year.

In addition to its application dedicated to the charging of electric vehicles, miio has launched its business fleet management solution Mio Fleets. Son miio Store then arrived in France, an online store for charging equipment which follows the acquisition of the Voltcharge e-commerce platform. In partnership with Powerdot, miio also launched the Autocharge functionality in France which allows users to automatically start and pay for their session with compatible terminals. Recently, miio announced new payment methods with eKeys, optimized digital keys that join the physical cards and packages already offered.

“We are proud to have a growing community of users, both individuals and businesses, and to help them optimize the charging of their electric vehicles,” says Daniela Simões, co-founder and CEO of miio. “Since our arrival in France two years earlier, we have extended our compatibility with the majority of the charging network and developed a versatile portfolio of solutions. In July, we even saw a 70% increase in the number of users on the application, indicating that the French are increasingly turning to electric vehicles, even for long-distance vacation journeys. A promising overview for the future of electric mobility in France, which we intend to continue to support as it evolves. »
