Starting this morning, Monday 18 March, the new round of click days for the entry into Italy of workers from non-EU countries, through the Services Portal – Single Desk for Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior (via Spid or Cie). The first applications can be submitted to bring foreign workers to Italy and hire them within the quotas authorized by the government for 2024. This click day is dedicated to non-seasonal subordinate workers for certain work sectors, citizens of countries that have cooperation agreements with Italy on migration matters. Like previous click days, it is destined to sell out in a few minutes.
The sectors affected
The sectors involved are: road haulage of goods for third parties, construction, tourism-hotel, mechanics, telecommunications, food, shipbuilding, passenger transport by bus, fishing, hairdressers, electricians and plumbers.
The countries
The countries that have agreements with Italy they are: Albania, Algeria, Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Korea (Republic of Korea), Ivory Coast, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Philippines, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Japan, Jordan, Guatemala, India , Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Mali, Morocco, Mauritius, Moldova, Montenegro, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Republic of North Macedonia, Senegal, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Tunisia, Ukraine.
The documentation
Applications sent during the December click days for 2023 admissions and not accepted due to insufficient available quotas (there were 609 thousand applications for 136 thousand places) can be resubmitted by attaching the same documentation: the certification which certifies the verification at the employment centers of the unavailability of workers already present on the national territory (unless the requested job has changed) and the certification of a professional who guarantees the congruity between the economic consistency of the company and the required workers (if the number of instances remains the same). However, as requested by the interested categories, it is not possible to reuse the same application already submitted.
In case of unavailability
The circular of February 29 reminds that if the documents to be attached to the application are not available, it remains possible replace them with declarations of commitment to produce the missing documentation during the examination by the One Stop Shop for immigration
