Andrea Delmastro, a member of parliament for Fratelli d’Italia and undersecretary of Justice, was among the guests on the August 31 episode of Stasera Italia, a Rete4 talk show hosted by Sabrina Scampini. In particular, the FdI MP focused on the German government’s choices regarding migrants: “Olaf Scholz has become Melonized, the Italian government’s bar is already higher, Scholz, like all social democrats, has matured and grown and become right-wing. He said crackdown on the right to asylum, he said rejections, he said repatriations, he said let’s stop an integration model that can no longer go forward and evidently Scholz himself, who some time ago looked with interest at Meloni’s plan on Albania, has come closer to the language of the right, which is the language of political maturity. He has matured and become Melonized. Scholz – Delmastro concludes – has repatriated 28 Afghans, we are unable to detain 5 Tunisians, because evidently a portion of magistrates believe that Tunisia is not a safe country”.
