Middleton’s Photoshop burns Buckingham 2024-03-14 20:28:26

The picture posted by the Palace on the royal couple’s official accounts on Mother’s Day was intended to reassure the nation. It did the opposite.

The now infamous Photo-gate, with the ‘teased’ photo of Kate posing with her three children, extends the reflection on the state of her health. Conspiracy theories regarding the reasons for her “decommissioning” have run rampant – she is not expected to return to duty before Easter – while cooler voices speak of a communications Waterloo.

The princess apologized for the photo’s distortions, attributing the mistakes to her inexperience and experimentation with Photoshop, another hobby of hers, in addition to her passion for photography. However, it has its merits that six global photo agencies have withdrawn the image due to its tampering, an unprecedented reaction to an official royal photograph, although it is not the first time “problems” have been reported with the Palace’s photographs, which it refuses to post the original, virtuous image.

Even famous Brits who support the royal family, like the well-known presenter Piers Morgan, they were quick to request that the photo be released. Palace sources say the princess feels horrible regarding the incident, but that doesn’t offer anything either, as what people want are answers.

The lack of transparency seems to fuel the scenarios regarding the “materials” that were needed for the photo, still questioning how Kate posed for the camera with her children.

The first wants to have used the cover of ‘Vogue’ with Kate Middleton from 2016 and the second wants to have used a photograph of the Princess of Wales from November 2023. The first theory regarding the cover of ‘Vogue’ was developed by Daily Mirror social media worker Ruby Naldret. As she notes, her analysis shows that they took Kate’s face from the cover she did for “Vogue” several years ago and copied it into last Sunday’s photo. The theory caught on, as user X (formerly of Twitter) pointed out that this explains why her hair is fuzzy and see-through where the hat covered it on the Vogue cover.

The second theory was developed by TikToker Aline Ashtonwhich claims that the image of Kate Middleton was taken from a photo taken in November 2023 of an appearance with her husband, William, at a charity event.

IRONY FROM HARI

Photo-gate seems not to have gone unnoticed by the Sussexes either, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expressing their own bitterness. Sources close to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as reported by Page Six, commented that “Meghan would never make this mistake.” Sussex exiles would have been “disappeared” from the media if they had shared Photoshopped photos of themselves and their family, they said.
