DUBAI> The Middle East and North Africa Solar Energy Conference under the aegis of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will be held from November 15 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Researchers and experts from 95 universities from 36 countries will participate in the first session of the conference and present papers on various topics. Scientists, researchers, investors and international speakers will exchange innovative ideas and discuss perspectives in the field of solar energy. The three-day conference will have 28 sessions. In the 25th session of the conference, ‘Deva’ organizes discussions and paper presentations on water, energy, technology and environment. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority also attaches great importance to research and development in the sustainable and renewable energy sector, including green hydrogen, hydroelectric power, solar energy, and photovoltaic energy, as part of the Carbon Neutral Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy, which aims to change Dubai’s energy source to 100 percent clean energy by 2050.
