Microtransactions are now available in Resident Evil 4 Remake. These allow players to upgrade their weapons more quickly.

These paid upgrade tickets are included in the free Mercenaries DLC. With these you can then speed up the process of upgrading your weapons for real money.
In the description of the expansion it says: “For gun enthusiasts, knife collectors and lovers of all kinds of weapons.” This gives you access to the exclusive upgrades of a weapon at any time, regardless of the weapon’s tier. And not only that: once unlocked, the upgrade itself is free!”

So you can redeem the ticket – once bought – at your trusted weapons dealer. The item will then appear in the “Treasures” menu. One of these upgrade tickets costs $2.99. You can save a little when buying bundles with multiple tickets.

If you want to buy all 23 tickets, you have to spend a total of $55.89. After all, the extension itself is completely free and available for all platforms. Capcom did not give any indication of the added microtransactions.
