Microsoft plans to discuss its vision for the future of Xbox at a business update event held later this week.
The event comes following weeks of rumors regarding the arrival of games exclusive to the Xbox platform on the Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch platforms.
On Thursday, February 15, the company is supposed to hold a business update event to talk regarding the future of Xbox.
Rumors indicate that Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Starfield, and Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle may appear on non-Microsoft gaming platforms.
The company did not address these rumors directly, although Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox division, did not reject them last week.
“We are listening and hearing you, and we plan to hold a business update event to present the developments, and we look forward to publishing more details regarding our vision for the future of Xbox,” Spencer said before announcing the February 15 event.
Microsoft is making the business update event available as an official Xbox podcast. The company releases podcasts for the Xbox platform via YouTube.

The business update comes following the game’s data-mined assets hinted at a Hi-Fi Rush release for Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Switch earlier this month.
This hint came following rumors emerged regarding the arrival of Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves to non-Microsoft gaming platforms.
Rumors have also indicated that Starfield may arrive on Sony PlayStation, and reports issued last week stated that Microsoft is also considering launching the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle game on Sony PlayStation.
Amid growing speculation regarding the future of Xbox, exclusive console games, and even turning the division into a console manufacturer, Phil Spencer reportedly told employees that the company has no plans to stop making consoles.
Spencer moved to reassure employees, as the company held an internal meeting, and Spencer told employees that there were no plans to stop making consoles, and that Xbox would remain part of a strategy that includes multiple types of devices.
