The push of a button will be one way to summon an artificial intelligence tool, as Microsoft exerts its influence in the computer industry to reshape the next generation of consoles.

Starting this month, some new personal computers running Microsoft’s Windows operating system will contain a special “Copilot key” that launches a chatbot supported by artificial intelligence.

Persuading third-party computer manufacturers to add an artificial intelligence button to laptops is the latest move by Microsoft to take advantage of its close partnership with the artificial intelligence company OpenA, which launched the ChatGPT platform, making… Itself a gateway to applications of generative AI technology.

Although most people now connect to the Internet – and AI applications – via phone rather than computers, it is a symbolic start to what is expected to be an intensely competitive year, as technology companies race to outdo each other in AI applications, even if they have not yet eliminated all… Ethical and legal implications.

The keyboard redesign will be the biggest change Microsoft has made to personal computer keyboards since it introduced a special Windows key in the 1990s.

The newest AI button will be marked with the CoPilot logo, which looks like a ribbon, and will be located near the space key. On some computers, it will replace the “Control” key on the right side, while on others it will replace the Menu key.
