Microsoft supports artificial intelligence (AI) voice and text-to-speech (TTS) functions in desktop Bing Chat.
U.S. IT media Engadget reported on the 10th (local time) that Microsoft has installed voice input and TTS functions in desktop Bingchat. This allows Bing to read aloud the responses sent to the user from the desktop.
“We know that many users love using the voice input feature in mobile chat,” the company said in a Bing preview notice. This feature is already available in the Bing AI chatbot mobile app, but is now available on the desktop as well. You can use this feature by tapping the microphone icon in the Bingchat box.
Currently, this feature supports English, Japanese, French, German and Chinese, with plans to expand support for more languages.
