Microsoft’s AI-powered search engine gets high marks from testers – Bloomberg

riceMicrosoft has released the results of an early test of its own search engine, Bing, which is newly equipped with artificial intelligence (AI). The trial was conducted for one week with users in more than 169 countries.

The company announced on the 15thblog postexplained that 71% of the users who participated in the test supported the answers given by AI. He added that the addition of the chat feature has shown that users are more engaged. In addition, users are using Bing with a chat function not only for asking specific questions, but also for acquiring knowledge about general events in the world and entertainment in social life.

Microsoft is using for Bing a modified and improved language model used in ChatGPT, a chatbot developed by U.S. start-up company OpenAI. Microsoft plans to deepen its relationship by investing an additional $10 billion (about 1.34 trillion yen) in Open AI.
