Amid intense scrutiny ahead of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard, new information has emerged that Microsoft previously thought regarding bringing Xbox Game Pass to PlayStation, but was blocked by Sony.
Representative from Microsoft Disclosure with Tom Warren, journalist at The Verge. that
“Sony chose to exclude Game Pass from PlayStation, so it wasn’t on PlayStation.”
“A lot of the games on Game Pass are also available for purchase, PlayStation gamers can still buy Call of Duty on PlayStation and doing so costs less than buying an Xbox. ”

Microsoft is still in the process of reviewing it. which must prove that this acquisition will not destroy trade competition in the future
A Microsoft representative continued.
“Repeat, this will increase competition more than ever and the market leader Sony is choosing to protect its revenue by releasing new games instead of giving gamers the option to access them. through their monthly service like PlayStation Plus.”
What Microsoft is saying might mean that Sony currently offers a service like PlayStation Plus that’s similar to Game Pass, but it doesn’t give gamers a chance to play any new Day One games, unlike Xbox Game. Pass that is more open in this regard.
Microsoft’s deal with Activision Blizzard is pending by the European Commission. Which is preliminary that the results will be known no later than November 8, and if approved, it will mean that the deal will be closed immediately. but if not yet approved It will have to go through the intensive inspection process in Phase 2.
