Microsoft Teams has announced the rollout of Language Interpretation, a new feature that will allow professional interpreters to translate the words of an interlocutor without interrupting their speech.
The objective of his initiative is to give rise to more “inclusive” meetings, in which all participants can intervene regardless of their language, as the Redmond company has shared in a statement published on its website.

To do this, Microsoft Teams has built in language interpretation. This means that professional interpreters will be able to convert a speaker’s message into another language without interrupting their speech.
The translation process will be simultaneous and will allow all attendees to attend a meeting in the language they feel most comfortable using. To do this, the interpreter’s volume will be output at a higher level than the speaker’s.
For its part, the organizers of the meeting may invite one of these interpreters from the options menu or designate one of the participants to occupy said position.
