Microsoft seems to be testing the new taskbar UI for Windows 11 and more | HelenTech

Windows

It was revealed that Microsoft is testing the taskbar of Windows 11 to incorporate a new design (UI). In this test, it seems that the widget of Windows 11 also displays the notification batch, restores the search bar, and so on.

According to The Verge, we are currently testing the UI of three different search bars for the taskbar, one with only regular search icons, the other two showing small or large bars. I am telling you.

Regarding the notification badge of the widget, it is displayed when you receive notifications such as weather forecast and news, and it seems to be similar to the badge displayed in the action center on Windows. It may be possible to remove or disable this notification, but we don’t know what it will be at this time.

In addition to UI testing, Microsoft is also testing a new camera app, which will support QR code and barcode scanning. Besides that, it seems that media players are also being tested for the ability to rip CDs to AAC, WMA, etc.

To be honest, I don’t use the search bar very much, so I don’t really feel the benefit of changing the UI (even if I press the start button to search). The same is true for widgets.
