(Archyde.com) – Microsoft Corp. President Brad Smith told the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on Thursday that it would sell Call of Duty, the popular game owned by game company Activision Blizzard. to rival companies such as Sony for 10 years as a legally binding agreement.

The FTC has filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction once morest Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, arguing that it might stop supplying games to competitors. Even within the industry, there was widespread concern that Microsoft, which develops the home game console “Xbox,” would limit “Call of Duty” and other games to its own services.

To allay those concerns, Microsoft earlier this month promised to keep Call of Duty on Nintendo’s platform for 10 years. Sony also has a similar response.
