Speaking of it, even Windows 10 updates seem to be quite easy to package from a historical point of view. But if you think regarding it on the bright side, there should be no new features in this system in the future (huh). Because in addition to special versions, Microsoft has determined that Windows 10 Enterprise Edition, Windows 10 Education Board, Windows 10 Home Edition and Windows 10 Professional Edition will not have any feature updates following the 22H2 version.

“As documented on the Windows 10 Enterprise and Education and Windows 10 Home and Pro lifecycle pages, Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10”

This isn’t the kind of situation Windows 10 used to routinely announce that older versions would be out of service (see more: Three Windows 10 Versions End of Life Next Month, Microsoft Urges Users to Upgrade Quickly). Instead, Windows 10 confirms that the entire system has completed the product cycle and announced the termination of future feature updates. According to the official announcement, the Windows 10 update of the 22H2 version is confirmed to be the last feature update.

If you are really not used to Windows 11 and want to stay on Windows 10. In fact, as far as the official statement is concerned, the relevant function updates can be maintained until October 14, 2025. So at least you can be sure, if you want, you can still survive until more than two years later (theoretically) before there will be a greater security risk-if you can tolerate no new features added during this period.

Microsoft has not let go of this opportunity to “strongly encourage” everyone to upgrade to Windows 11. In the description of the recommended action, “there won’t be any additional Windows 10 feature updates. (There will be no additional Windows 10 feature updates)” pokes users who are still on the Windows 10 system once more.

No wonder, at the bottom, you can see a message like “Give me back my start menu and taskbar controls then I’ll switch (Give me back my start menu and taskbar controls then I’ll switch)” (laughs). Some people also think that Windows 11 should be made more perfect before Windows 10 officially ends the feature update.

I don’t know, friends who are still using Windows 10, will they decide to upgrade or switch to another system because of this?
