At an event held this Tuesday morning (21), Microsoft revealed more information regarding the launch of the company’s virtual reality glasses in the Brazilian market. HoloLens 2 and HoloLens Industrial Edition share the same design and construction, but vary the features offered by focusing on different target audiences.
Both accessories have been available in the United States for a long time, however, they arrive in the Brazilian market starting this month with distribution by the company Ingram. The American manufacturer claims that the glasses will not be manufactured in Brazil, but has not committed to revealing the country of origin of the devices.
This technology can be exploited by both ordinary users and companies in different industry segments such as manufacturing, engineering, healthcare and education. The ergonomic shape and high-quality materials allow the glasses to be worn for a long time without discomfort.
According to press reports, the devices will be available in the Brazilian market starting tomorrow (22) in two versions with a hefty price. Despite the very high values, the brand reinforces that theSuggested prices already include taxes and the final value must follow the daily dollar exchange rate, and distributors must be consulted.
The prices below consider the quotation today (21) in which the US currency is worth R$ 5.24.
- Standard – US$ 7.729,00 (~ R$ 40.477,55);
- Industrial – US$ 10.973,00 (~ R$ 57.466,70).
