Microsoft is about to dust off the OneDrive interface

Microsoft is preparing a redesign of the OneDrive interface to meet the graphic charter of Windows 11. The publisher should also offer better integration of the storage service into the operating system.

Microsoft has also planned to allow the user of the paid version of OneDrive to directly manage their account in the Windows 11 settings. storage available.

Note that this beta version of OneDrive was initially intended for internal testing at Microsoft. It is therefore very likely that the application will change once more before its final version. Microsoft has not communicated on it and has not indicated whether it will be included in the 22H2 version of Windows 11, which is scheduled for October.

Stories in OneDrive

Sharing is done by adding the Microsoft account address of the person you want to invite. Only photos and videos stored on OneDrive can be used. You can then remove access from certain people, or even completely delete a share. It is also possible to add a cover photo and a description for each story. Microsoft insists that the feature is available even for the free version of OneDrive, and does not feature .

The feature is currently being tested in Australia and will be available in other countries later this year. It requires the mobile version of OneDrive (iOS or Android), or to go through the website.
