Microsoft has decided to raise prices for Xbox Series X and Xbox Game Pass in most regions. The console will become more expensive from August 1 this year, and the subscription – from July 6 for new subscribers and from August 13 for existing ones (or from September 13 in Germany). Thus, for example, in Europe the Xbox Series X will cost 549 euros instead of 499 euros, in the UK – 479 pounds instead of 449 pounds, in Canada – 649 Canadian dollars instead of 599 dollars, in Australia – 799 Australian dollars instead of 749 dollars. There will be no price increases in the US, Japan, Chile, Brazil and Colombia. As for Xbox Game Pass, the basic subscription will cost $10.99 instead of $9.99, while the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will cost $16.99 instead of $14.99. There will be no price increases in Norway, Chile, Denmark, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. Prices will remain the same on Xbox Series S and PC Game Pass.
