The Windows Insider Program is one of the best places to access the latest features and options, but sometimes there are hidden gems that serve as harbingers of what’s to come. The latest Dev build is a good example.
Cloud PC references have been spotted in Windows 11 build 23419 thanks to the arrival of the settingshandlers_cloudpc.dll file. There are even entries in the settings that make it clear that Microsoft is betting heavily on Cloud PC, but it remains to be seen whether that will make it into Windows 11 or Windows 12.
It was Twitter user and undocumented feature scout Xeno who brought attention to the existence of the settingshandlers_cloudpc.dll file. In a tweeted screenshot, it appears that the file is used to control port sharing between a host PC and a Cloud PC:

This is confirmed by the System > Cloud PC section of the Settings app in Windows 11 build 23419.
Albacore – which frequently finds and shares hidden treasures in Microsoft software – has also shared screenshots on Twitter showing how resource sharing with a cloud PC will be handled:
This feature is force disabled in the registry but clever Insiders will know how to work their way around this
Beyond more hardcodes lies a settings entry that is for some reason not on the Taskbar page.. both this & the registry value name seem off

At this stage, it is difficult to draw conclusions from these findings. It is not known exactly when these options will be available for Windows 11 (or Windows 12) users, or what type of audience they will address: individuals, SMEs or companies.
