In addition to the hardware news, Microsoft also announced an update to the popular keyboard app SwiftKey, available for iOS and Android. The new version brings a series of features with artificial intelligenceaiming to improve creativity and productivity.
Among these innovations are AI camera lenses, which allow you to create photos, videos and GIFs — thanks to more than 250 available tools and filters. Some of these lenses are the result of a partnership with Snapthe creator of Snapchat.
Now, too, the Bing Image Creator is integrating with SwiftKey, allowing users to create personalized stickers from their own photos. These stickers, of course, can be sent using a wide range of messengers, such as WhatsApp.
SwiftKey now has an AI-powered editing feature designed to help improve your writing. When you highlight a sentence, you can receive instant feedback and suggestions for improving grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Finally, we can now access Bing Image Creator directly from the SwiftKey keyboard, facilitating visual searches and expanding the app’s functionality.
Microsoft, as we know, has been actively working on improving SwiftKey over the past few months, connecting it with Bing to enable integrated web searches, Bing Chat interactions, and AI-powered text personalization.
The newly announced updates are now gradually rolling out to SwiftKey users on iOS and Android.
