Micky van de Ven (22) is about to move to Tottenham! This is reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Accordingly, the Dutch central defender would have already agreed with the Premier League club.
Wolfsburg don’t actually want to give up the young van de Ven, who was one of the best defenders in the league last season. Nothing goes below 30 million euros!

The Dutchman has also been linked with Liverpool in the past. Jörg Schmadtke currently works there as sports director. He had committed him to his time in Wolfsburg at the time.
Van de Ven had switched from Holland-Klub Volendam to the wolves in the summer of 2021 for 3.5 million euros. In March of this year, he had extended his contract early until 2027 for better pay.
After the end of the season, however, he announced: “Of course I feel very comfortable in Wolfsburg. So I don’t mind playing another year in Wolfsburg. But if I have the chance to go, I’d love to.”

Wolves coach Niko Kovac recently said of his player: “Micky is a huge part of this team. A player who has really developed extremely well in recent years, with huge potential. I feel like he’s happy, he sees himself here and he’ll take another step forward this season so that he can then possibly recommend himself to his national team for the European Championship.”
With ex-Schalke player Moritz Jenz (24) and the Swiss Cedric Zesiger (25), VfL had already committed two central defenders in the summer as a precaution. There are also Sebastiaan Bornauw (24) and Maxence Lacroix (23) in the squad.
At Tottenham, Van den Ven would resolve the open gap in defence. Spurs coach Ante Postecoglou had repeatedly emphasized on the club’s Asia trip that he still wanted a central defender in the squad. “We’ve been working on this for a while and will definitely try to get it done as soon as possible,” he said.
Now the coach could soon have his dream player.
